                 A GLORIOUS THOUGHT... FORGIVENESS!

Psalm 130:4:
But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

Eph 1:7:  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness
of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Col 1:14:  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the
forgiveness of sins:

God is the same. He changes not. Throughout the Old Testament and the
New Testament, we find the faithfulness of God to be unchanging.
Forgiveness of sins is something that only He can do. The Lord designed
the plan of salvation for us even before He ever laid the foundation of the
world. God had a plan. He created us and knew that He would redeem us.
The Great Creator became our Savior. We have forgiveness through the
shed blood of Christ Jesus. Jesus finished the redemptive work on the cross
and what a glorious thought to behold. Jesus is the Lamb!

John the baptist said in John 1:29: "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh
away the sin of the world." We have redemption through the blood of
Jesus. Not because of our own righteousness but because of His
righteousness.

Titus 3:5:
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but
according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and
renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Romans 5:17-18  "For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much
more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness
shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.   Therefore as by the offence of one
judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the
righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of
life."

Romans 10:4:  For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every
one that believeth.

1John 1:9:  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our
sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Because of God's kindness and mercy, we have the riches of His grace.
Through Jesus and only through Jesus, we have access to the Heavenly
Father who loves us so much. Jesus loves us so much.

John 15:13:
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his
life for his friends.

John 10:15:   As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I
lay down my life for the sheep.

John 10:17-18  Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my
life, that I might take it again.  No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down
of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.
This commandment have I received of my Father.

We should only glory in the Lord Jesus. Our own self righteousness can
never save us. Jesus alone can only save. Hallelujah and praise be to His
name forever.

Romans 3:24:
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption
that is in Christ Jesus:

Romans 5:2:   By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein
we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23:  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal
life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Ephesians 2:8-9: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God:  Not of works, lest any man should boast.
