Answer: The Lord Jesus spoke more of Hell than He did of Heaven.
The doctrine of hell (eternal damnation) is found more in the Four
Gospels than in the rest of the Bible combined. To deny hell's
existance is to deny the words of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Hell is a real place but we do not need an audio cassette to tell us so.
We believe God's Word. Because the Bible speaks of hell, that is why
we believe that there is a hell. God's Word is truth. The Lord Jesus is

John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him,
I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

The audio tape, "Sounds from Hell" is an obvious fake. First of all,
Hell is a literal place but it is also a spiritual place. Hell is in the heart
of the earth but it is not tangible by the human hand or detected by the
human ear. Hell is where the lost souls are kept, awaiting the Great
White Throne Judgement, where Jesus will preside as Judge over those
who refused to accept Him as their Savior. Jesus paid a high price for
the salvation of mankind. Hell is filled (and the Lake of Fire will be
filled in the future) with those people whose names are NOT written in
the Lamb's Book of Life.

Revelation 20:15:
And whosoever was not found written in the book
of life was cast into the lake of fire.

We Must Believe The Bible

Let's look at why this tape is not authentic and cannot be used as a
witnessing tool. Why should a recording of screams from hell be
needed to preach the Gospel message? The Bible is
Our faith is not based on the "screams from hell"
audio or testimonies of some who supposedly died and seen hell.
Many people make these things up to sell books. Their testimonies
may cause doubt because faith comes only by hearing the Word of
God. Our faith should ONLY be based upon the Bible-- Period!
The Bible is what we stand upon.

Would God even allow a scientist to hear screams from hell
and record it?

Consider what Jesus says in Luke 16-- the dialogue between the lost
man in hell and Abraham:

Luke 16:27-28
Then he [the rich man] said, I pray thee therefore, father,
that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five
brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this
place of torment.

Luke 16:29-31  Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the
prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if
one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.   And he said unto
him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be
persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

What a POWERFUL statement! If one cannot believe the Word of God
and what He spoke through His prophets, then one will not be
persuaded by a "recording of hell".

1) As Christians, we do not need cheap gadgets and gimmicks to
substantiate the Bible.
The Bible does not need validation. Hebrews
11:6 tells us,
"he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and
that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are
corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth

2) The "hell" recording is being promoted as the genuine article
without any proof but a tabloid newspaper article as its source. It is not
a "well-respected newspaper" as some have said. Christians have
jumped on the bandwagon. This should not be so. They should KNOW

For those who feel that they need to promote a tabloid story, a question:
Why stand on sinking sand?

3) Consider the source of the story: TBN allegedly got the story
from R.W. Schambach, who allegedly got it from a "respected
scientific journal" in Finland and from a Norwegian schoolteacher.
The "respected scientific journal" turned out to be a monthly
newsletter printed by a group of Finnish Christians. And the
schoolteacher allegedly fabricated the "bat-like" creature part of the
story just to see if American religious programs (TBN) would release
the story without investigating it, which they did. He got the idea from
watching TBN while visiting in the USA, and seeing the original
"sounds of hell" story being reported as true. And Dr. Dimitri Azzacov,
the alleged manager of the drilling experiment that originally recorded
the "sounds of hell" is nowhere to be found except in the one article
circulating all over the Internet. (see the "Urban Legends" link below)

4)The first thing a good journalist learns is to present hard evidence in
a story. Facts, not fiction, must be presented. And those facts must be
tracked down, investigated and documented. Speculation is not a part
of good reporting.

Stories must be researched. But unfortunately in this case Christians,
without investigating, have copied this tabloid story in the hopes to
convince the doubting person that hell is real. Well, how presumptuous
of them to think such cheap tactics will work!
If people won't listen to
what the Bible says, they won't get saved anyway!

Rom 10:9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou
shalt be saved.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Listening to urban legends will not produce faith. Faith comes by
hearing the Word of God. Salvation comes by believing the Word of
God. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved.

Let's Look At Hard Facts Concerning Hell:

If one does not believe in God or the Bible today, someday they will
believe-- only by then it will be too late for them. Death is inevitable
for all people. The rich and the poor-- all die and no one can buy one
more day upon this earth. When their time is up, it is up-- that's it.
Hebrews 9:27 says,
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but
after this the judgment:"
There are no second chances from the grave.

Psalm 9:17
The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations
that forget God.

One may say, "Well I don't believe in Hell...I only believe certain parts
of the Bible." Well, the same God which tells us of His love for us also
tells us of the consequences of our sin and rebellion.

Isaiah 5:14
Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth
without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp,
and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

The Bible has much to say about hell. God's Word is what we stand
upon for God's Word is truth. The Bible is the only thing that cannot be
refuted. We must line everything up with God's Holy Word. If a pastor
veers off the straight path of Scripture, there is much room for error.
Sensational stories are NOT the way to convince someone of hell.
(Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. The Word of God must be

People just don't believe in hell alone. They must first come
to the realization of these first three points:

1) In order for a person to believe there is a hell, they must first believe
in God-- who is holy and righteous-- and who created all things.

2) They must believe the Bible is God's Holy Word—for the Bible
speaks much about hell.

3) They must believe what Jesus said. Jesus spoke more about
hell than He did about heaven.

Luke 12:5 [Jesus said]
But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he
hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Mark 9:45
And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt
into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never
shall be quenched:

Mark 9:47
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee
to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having
two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

Luke 16:23
And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and
seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Faith comes by HEARING the Word of God. Good fruit can never be
brought about from deeds of falsehood. God is truth. He can only work
in the realm of truth.

Why should a recording of "screams from hell" be needed to preach the
Gospel message or the doctrine of hell? The Bible, alone, is sufficient.
If one refuses to believe the Bible, most assuredly, they will not get
saved by listening to an audio tape.

Another example of propigating falsehood within Christian circles is
the book, "Visions of Heaven and Hell" by John Bunyan. Be sure your
sin will find you out, the Bible says. Careful examination of the book
gives concise findings that the book is an obvious fake and that the
famous John Bunyan did not even write the book. Parts of the book are
an obvious forgery of John Bunyan's sermon and the rest is blasphemy.

Why do some Christians chase the winds of sensationalism and
gimmicks to supposedly reach the lost? Why does there seem to be
such a need for the word of God to be proven from secular sources?
If you embrace God's Word, there is no room for any doubts.  Jesus
tells the Church of Philadelphia, "Thou hast kept my word, and hast
not denied my name."

Faith can never be produced from falsehood. Falsehood always causes
doubt and rationalization.

Some misguided "Christians" in the past have tried to use cheap
gimmicks and strategies to reach the lost for Christ. Their attempts are
unsuccessful because the only means by which a person can get saved
is by hearing the Gospel message -- that Jesus, being righteous, shed
His blood and died for their sins upon the Cross and was buried and
rose again three days later. All who receive Christ Jesus as their
Savior will have everlasting life.

John 3:16-18
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only
begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but
have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to
condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  He
that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is
condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the
only begotten Son of God.

The Word of God is the only means of preaching the Gospel. Faith
comes by hearing the Word of God.

It is easy for worldly man to forget about God and his own soul. The
earthly man looks down, trying to acquire the material wealth of this
earth. But if he would only lift his eyes, and look upward, he would see
that this earth is just a small part of a vast Universe. The stars and the
planets testify that there is a God. Genesis 1:1  In the beginning God
created the heaven and the earth.

Psalm 19:1
The heavens declare the glory of God; and
the firmament sheweth his handywork.

To the person who is an atheist-- are you sure there is no afterlife?
Can you guarantee there is no God? If you want to know God exists,
look around you. Did all of these precise and intricate things of the
Universe happen by chance? Does beauty evolve out of chaos on its
own?  The Bible contains the answer to every question you have.

Start reading the Holy Bible-- pray for your Creator to reveal Himself
to you, while you read His Word.

Jeremiah 29:13
And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search
for me with all your heart.

Hebrews 11:6
"...he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a
rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
