Jesus Is The Name Exalted!

To the name of our salvation,
Laud and honor let us pay,
Which for many a generation,
Hid in God’s foreknowledge lay.
But with holy exultation
We may sing aloud today.
Jesus is the name we treasure,
Name beyond what words can tell;
Name of gladness, name of pleasure,
Ear and heart delighting well;
Name of sweetness, passing measure,
Saved us from sin and hell.
Jesus is the name exalted
Over every other name;
In this name where’er assaulted
We can put our foes to shame:
Strength to them who else had halted,
Eyes too blind, and feet too lame.
Therefore we, in love adoring
This most blessed name revere,
Holy Saviour, Thee imploring
So we write it in us here
That, hereafter heavenward soaring,
We may sing with angels there.

A Little Note from Cobblestone Road Ministries:

Philippians 2:9
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and
given him a name which is above every name:

The Lord Jesus is HIGHLY exalted and worthy of the Highest Praise!
Our Heavenly Father has given Him a name that is above every name!
We shall praise Him for all eternity! He died for our sins and
defeated death by rising from the dead! Someday we shall
see Him face to face! What a glorious day that will be!

Act 5:31
Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince
and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Oh how our Savior loves us. He died for our sins.
He arose from the grave victorious over death!

If that isn't something to be joyful about...what is?
