| WE BELIEVE... in the inerrancy of Scripture, that the Bible, Old and New Testaments are the Only inspired, infallible Word of God. That the Holy Bible was written by holy men divinely inspired by the Holy Ghost and is God's revelation of Himself to man. The Scriptures are for instruction and are supreme and the Bible is the final authority on all matters of faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:21) WE BELIEVE... in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, The Son and Holy Ghost. (1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. ) (John 1:1-5) (Rev 19:13) WE BELIEVE... that God is the personal, transcendent, and sovereign Creator of all things and that He created everything out of nothing for His own pleasure and purpose. (1 John 5:7; Genesis 1:26-27; Hebrews 1:8; Psalm 110:1) WE BELIEVE... in the Deity of Jesus Christ. He is the Second Person of the Godhead Trinity. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was begotten of the Heavenly Father through the Holy Spirit, was born of a virgin named Mary, and became flesh without ceasing to be God. Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. That He was born of a virgin, lived a perfect sinless life, did many awesome miracles, provided for the atonement of our sins by shedding His precious blood and dying a torturous death on the cross. We believe that God raised Him from the dead on the third day, that He ascended back to the right hand of the Father, where He intercedes as High Priest and Advocate on behalf of all who believe in Him. We believe in His personal return in power and great glory. WE BELIEVE... that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again according to the Scriptures and that He is the Promised Jewish Messiah. That He fulfilled the Old Testament Messianic prophecies concerning Himself. (Isaiah 53, Isaiah 9:6, Zech 12:10, Psalm 22:16, Psalm 40, John 19:37, Daniel 9:26, Psalm 16:10, Acts 13:37, Micah 5:2, Genesis 49:10, 1Chron 17:11) ...plus so many more. WE BELIEVE... that all people are, by nature, sinners and are separated from God and are responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Only in Christ Jesus do we have redemption through his blood, and our sins are forgiven. (Colossians 1:14) When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord, trusting ONLY Him to save them and that His blood washes our sins away, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit. All his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God, destined to spend eternity with the Lord. The Bible teaches that the Lord Jesus is the Only way to Heaven and man cannot enter heaven by their good works or deeds ...through no merit of their own...Jesus alone can only save us. We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God. That the Holy Ghost is our Comforter and indwells the believer, bestows spiritual gifts upon them, and empowers them for service and holy living. (John 1:12; Acts 20:21) WE BELIEVE... that all truly born again Believers, regardless of denominational affiliation, compose the Body of Christ-- His Church, His Bride. We believe in the local New Testament church, a body of baptized believers who come together to worship God and in obedience to Christ, carry out the dictates of the Word of God. (Acts 14:27; 20:17, 28-32; I Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-11). WE BELIEVE... that there are two ordinances of the Church: Baptism and the Lord's Supper. We believe baptism, by full water immersion, to be the symbolic act of the believer in Christ Jesus. (The Greek word for "Baptize" means to "make fully wet.") We are to partake in the Lord's Supper and to wait in expectation "till He come." (See Matthew. 28:19-20; Acts 2:41-42, 18:18; I Corinthians 11:23-26). And the Lord's Supper is to be observed by every local church in the taking of bread and grape juice to remember the Lord's death for us upon the cross. WE BELIEVE... in the Rapture..."that blessed hope," the personal, pre-tribulation, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe in the bodily resurrection of the redeemed at the premillennial return of Christ for His church, when the souls and spirits of those who have died will be reunited with their bodies, now immortal, and that believers who are alive at that time, their bodies likewise transformed into immortality, will be caught up together with them to meet Christ in the air, ever to be with Him. (Titus 2:13) WE BELIEVE... that at death, the souls of the redeemed pass immediately into Christ's presence to remain there until the resurrection of the body at Jesus Christ's return for the Church. We also believe that at death, the souls of the lost go to hell, where they remain until they are brought before Christ at the Great White Throne final judgment to be judged according to their works and cast into the Lake of Fire, there to remain eternally. WE BELIEVE... in the personal, bodily return of our Lord Jesus Christ to rescue Israel at Armageddon (at the end of the Seven Year Tribulation period found in the Book of Revelation and Daniel) and to establish His millennial kingdom, reigning over this earth from His throne in Jerusalem. What We Reject and Do Not Believe: * ALL man-made dogma * Shepherding Movements * The teaching of "positive confession" * The belief that true-Christians can be possessed by demons. This is anti-biblical!! * "Dominion theology" or "kingdom theology" * The Fatalistic hyper-Calvinistic view, which allows no room for free will. * Prophecy that supersedes biblical scripture. *ALL of "Charismania" (the over-emphasis upon "spiritual" gifts, experiential signs and wonders, etc.). We also reject Charismania's definition of spiritual gifts. * Prosperity Gospel * Word of Faith doctrines and teachings (which teach Jesus died spiritually and had to become born again and suffered 3 days in hell). Pure blasphemy! Any teaching that is contrary to the Word of God. Any teaching that goes beyond what the Bible says. Any teaching or religion that propagates good works as a means for salvation. Any teaching that promotes praying to Mary or to saints. Any teaching or religion that adds to or deletes from what is written in the Bible. Any teaching that denies the Trinity.
