Where God Ain't He was just a little boy on a week's first day. He was wandering home from Sunday School and dawdling on the way. He scuffed his shoes into the grass, he found a caterpillar, He found a fluffy milkweed pod, and blew out all the "filler". A bird's nest in a tree o'er head, so wisely placed on high, was just another wonder that caught his eager eye. A neighbor watched his zig-zag course and hailed him from the lawn Asked him where he'd been that day and what was going on. "I've been to bible school" he said, and turned a piece of sod, He picked up a wiggly worm, replying "I've learned a lot of God." "Very fine way" the neighbor said, "for a boy to spend his time, If you'll tell me where God is, I'll give you a brand new dime." Quick as a flash the answer came, nor were his accents faint, "I'll give you a dollar, Mister if you can tell me where God ain't." ~Unknown Author~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Little Note from Cobblestone Road Ministries: Psalm 139:6-10 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. Psalm 121:2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. For Christians, this is our comfort to know that wherever we go and whatever we do, God is there. Everything thing that He created has His fingerprint on it. There is even evidence of God's love found in a blade of grass. (See our bible study link below) He holds the world in the palm of His hand and He cares for us. This old world will someday pass away and God will create a new Heaven and a new earth and God will be there too. He is beyond all human comprehension. His majesty is so great that our finite minds cannot possibly comprehend Him. The Bible says that we see through a glass, darkly but we who have received Christ Jesus as our Savior shall someday see the Lord in His glory-- face to face! God is everywhere and He knows everything. What a comfort to know our Savior-- The Lord Jesus Christ. He not only created us (John 1, Colossians 1:16) but He also died on the cross for our sins and rose again from the dead. Because He lives, we shall live forever with Him! 1Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
