What though the blossom fall and die?
The flower is not the root;
The sun of love may ripen yet
The Masterís pleasant fruit.
What though by many a sinful fall
Thy garments are defiled?
A Saviourís blood can cleanse them all:
Fear not! thou art His child.
Arise! and, leaning on His strength,
Thy weakness shall be strong;
And He will teach Thy heart at length
A new perpetual song.
Arise! to follow in His track
Each holy footprint clear,
And on an upward course look back
With every brightening year.
Arise! and on thy future way
His blessing with thee be!
His presence be thy staff and stay,
Till Thou His glory see.

A Little Note from Cobblestone Road Ministries:
Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest,
and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
The above poem was written to a discouraged Christian;
and it encourages the Saints to press on and move forward,
knowing that the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive
us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We are to arise and lean upon God's strength and know that each
one of us is "His child." We are bought with a price-- the precious
blood of the Lamb! Do not be discouraged! This life is but a journey
onward to the Promised Land; and so we go forward each day in
Jesus Christ. In His strength, we can rise above any situation.
The Holy Spirit will produce the "fruit of the Spirit" within us, as we
yield to Him in all things. God will teach our hearts to sing. And May
we sing the new song God gives to our hearts-- giving glory and
honor to His name! To God be all the glory!
The Messiah in Psalm 40:3 says:
And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God:
many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
And in Christ Jesus, we, as Believers, have a new song to sing as well!
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a
good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ
Arise today and lean upon HIS STRENGTH!
