Wrapped in God's Love

Psalm 103:14  For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

2Thess 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from
evil.

My husband and I recently moved into a new house. As I have begun to
unpack the items that I had so carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, I have
rediscovered things I forgot that we owned. I had packed these fragile items
long before our former house went up for sale. So for two years, these
things had been laying in boxes, untouched.  Because the items were
wrapped so carefully and cushioned with bubble wrap and tissue paper, they
arrived at the new house in one piece. Even though, the boxes were placed
in a moving truck and then to a storage unit, and handled by different
hands, the items arrived safely to our new home.

I thank God that He also carefully wraps us in His love and keeps us in
Christ Jesus so that in the hard times of our life, we can know the riches of
His mercy and grace.  Someday, we will finally arrive at our final
destination to be presented to the Heavenly Father. We stand justified in
His sight today because of the Lord Jesus; who shed His precious blood for
us at Calvary and rose again on the third day. ALL of our sins have been
washed away. We will be with the Lord for all eternity.

Just like a precious item that was carefully wrapped and sealed within a
box, we are in Christ Jesus and we are sealed with the Holy Spirit so that
through the rough times of rocking back and forth in this life, we are
secure. Someday, the trials of this present life will all be past but for now,
we are learning more and more to trust in the Lord.

Rom 14:17
For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness,
and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Rom 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

We are in Christ Jesus just like those items were placed safely in a box. Just
like those items that were sealed within the box, we too are sealed with the
Holy Spirit of promise. We walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. He is our
Comforter and teacher. He lives within us. He leads us and guides us into
all truth. He always points us to Jesus.

The Lord is always here for us, in the good times and the bad. Jesus never
promised us an easy road but He did promise that He would never leave us
nor forsake us. His promises are true. He will see us through every problem
and He is our help in times of trouble. We are going to rule and reign with
Christ Jesus forever someday!

Psalms 17:8-9
Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of
thy wings, From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who
compass me about.

Psalm 121:3  He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will
not slumber.

We are daily growing in the Lord. Sometimes, God has to relocate us
spiritually, physically, mentally, etc. But He always secures us no matter the
distance of the move.

Jesus prayed to the Heavenly Father for us in John 17:15,
"I pray not that
thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep
them from the evil."

No matter what the circumstance in our lives, the Lord is always on our
side. Jesus is our Shepherd and He cares for you and me.  It is God alone
that makes us secure and wraps us in His love. No matter how difficult the
road may be, the Lord will safely see us through. He clothes us with His
righteousness. He keeps us in His care at all times. And unlike me, who
forgot about some of the delicate things that I had wrapped, the Lord does
not forget about us. We are constantly in His care. We are constantly on
His mind. He truly cares for us. He knows us all by name. The Lord
remembers us always. He watches over us. The Lord leads us to the place
where we will be most safe...directly in the center of His will.

1Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

2Peter 2:9a The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations,

Prov 3:26  For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot
from being taken.

Psalm 140:4  Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me
from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.

Psalm 41:2  The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be
blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his
enemies.

Psalms 33:18-22  Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy;  To deliver their soul from death, and to
keep them alive in famine.  Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help
and our shield.  For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in
his holy name.  Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in
thee.

Isaiah 50:7 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be
confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall
not be ashamed.

2Tim 2:19  Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal,
The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the
name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Phil 4:7  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep
your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Jude 1:24  Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present
you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
