The RESURRECTION OF OUR LORD The Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus won the victory! He conquered sin, hell and the grave He conquered all for you and me! O what wonderous love unmatchless That our Savior humbly died There upon the cruel Golgotha He was willingly crucified For three days, His body lay In the silence of the grave But on the Third day He arose Triumphant over every foe! O victorious deed unmatchless When our Savior did arise He is the Life and Resurrection Our High Priest above the skies! All power is His alone He is crowned in majesty and glory! The Risen Christ forever ruling This is the glorious gospel story! O the sinner is forgiven O the sinner-- justified! For the Lord did rise victorious And He gives resurrection life! But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Our victory, as Christians, is in the Resurrected Christ! The Bible states that if Christ be not raised, we are yet in our sins. So very little is preached about the resurrection of Jesus and yet without His bodily resurrection and ascension, our faith is in vain. We serve a LIVING SAVIOR and He is able to save us because He is alive! The God-Man in Heaven-- Christ Jesus, The LORD! He is our Great High Priest and He purchased us with His precious blood. We have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb! Christ Jesus is our hope and He is our future! He is risen and is the firstfruits from the dead-- and we shall arise someday because of Him! Oh what hope! What a glorious future awaits the Saints of the Lord! Romans 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 1Peter 1:3-5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
