"Moment By Moment" Dying with Jesus, by death reckoned mine; Living with Jesus, a new life divine; Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine, Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine. Moment by moment I’m kept in His love; Moment by moment I’ve life from above; Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine; Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine. Never a trial that He is not there, Never a burden that He doth not bear, Never a sorrow that He doth not share, Moment by moment, I’m under His care. Never a heartache, and never a groan, Never a teardrop and never a moan; Never a danger but there on the throne, Moment by moment He thinks of His own. Never a weakness that He doth not feel, Never a sickness that He cannot heal; Moment by moment, in woe or in weal, Jesus my Savior, abides with me still. ~By Daniel W. Whittle, year 1893~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A Little Note from Cobblestone Road Ministries: 2Timothy 1:12b "...for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." Yes! He is able! Moment by moment and year by year! Everything we have is in the Lord's hands. He keeps every Saint and leads us and guides us by His Spirit. We are God's people-- called by His name. Matthew 28:20b "and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Every moment of every day, He is with us. As the poem so wonderfully states: "Moment by moment...Jesus, my Savior, abides with me still." And whether you are on the mountain-top today or in the valley, remember that the Savior-- the Lord Jesus- abides with you. There is never a place that you can go where He does not have you in His care. Whether it is rush- hour traffic or quiet time at home. He abides faithful. What a beautiful thought. He calls us to come and sit at His feet and learn of Him. We are to look to Him-- and talk to Him every day in prayer-- for He is the Friend that sticks closer than a brother. Whether in joy, trial, burden, pain... Look to the blessed Savior today! Moment by moment...He abides with us still. We are His and He is ours! Romans 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
