In Heavenly Love Abiding In Heavenly Love abiding, No change my heart shall fear, And safe is such confiding, For nothing changes here. The storm may roar without me, My heart may low be laid, But God is round about me, And can I be dismay'd? Wherever He may guide me, No want shall turn me back; My Shepherd is beside me, And nothing can I lack. His wisdom ever waketh, His sight is never dim, — He knows the way He taketh, And I will walk with Him. Green pastures are before me, Which yet I have not seen Bright skies will soon be o'er me, Where the dark clouds have been. My hope I cannot measure, My path to life is free, My Saviour has my treasure, And He will walk with me. Ere yet another morning My spirit may be free, As absent from the body, At home, O Lord, with Thee. O sleep! O rest! how precious, As guarded by Thy care, I'm waiting for Thy promise To meet Thee in the air. The above poem was written well over a century ago and yet it is truly the testimony of every Believer in Christ Jesus! We are Heavenly abiding. We should not fear but we should trust in Him always. Hebrews 12:2 tells us, "Looking unto Jesus, the Author and the Finisher of our Faith..." Oh how we so look forward to spending eternity with our Blessed Savior. But while we are living on this earth, we KNOW that He is with us. We are seated with Him in Heavenly places. We are members of the Body of Christ-- and He dwells within us through the Holy Spirit! He promised NEVER to leave us, nor forsake us. What a blessed truth! Christ Jesus is our Blessed Hope! We hold to that glorious promise when Jesus shall meet us in the skies. Oh, God keeps His promises and is always on time-- Hallelujah! He is coming for us-- in His perfect timing-- we shall be with Him soon. We are guarded by His care, and our Savior does walk with us-- wherever you are today, whatever you do, the Lord is with you! He loves you! We are in His heavenly love abiding. Right now, we see through a dark glass but someday we shall see our Lord face to face-- and nothing from now to all eternity shall ever separate us from the love of Christ-- nothing! Romans 8:38-39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rest assured today that the Lord, Himself, has you in His care and in His love, you are abiding. Oh, look to the Lord Jesus-- rest in His love and know that you should never fear!
